Tamuke yama is one of the oldest known lace leaf weeping maples dating back to 1710. Spring color is bright crimson red turning to a strong burgundy in the summer with bronze overtones before it finishes with scarlet red fall color. Tamuke yama holds it color better than most other red lace leaf maples even in high heat and humidity so it is recommended for East coast and Southern climate zones.
